My name is Aaron Duff and I have been the superintendent since 2019. It is an honor to continue to work in the community of Milton-Freewater. I came to this community 2004 as a High School Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor. The warm welcome, sense of community, and overarching alliance of providing a quality education to our youth has grounded me here. Over the years as a MFUSD Pioneer, I have held a few different positions that have allowed me to see the district, its educators, students and community through various lenses. In 2012, I transitioned from the classroom to being an elementary principal, where I gained experience at the K-5 level. In 2017, our community showed their support by passing a bond to build a new school and modernize all buildings in the district. At that time, I was chosen to move into the Director of Operations and overseeing the $33 million of bond work. Finally, in 2019, I was appointed Superintendent.
